The Peaty’s Holeshot CO2 Inflator Head uses a straight-line design rather than the standard 90-degree head, enabling faster airflow and less stress on tubeless valves. It pushes directly onto the valve stem rather than screwing on, and a spring-loaded release valve gives you full control over inflation flow. CNC machined from 6061 aluminium at just 45mm long and 14g, it’s as light and compact as a CO2 head gets. Available in 12 anodised colours. Presta valve compatible. Head only — CO2 cartridges and silicone freeze protector sleeve sold separately.
Peaty’s Holeshot CO2 Tyre Inflator Head – MTB & Tubeless CO2 Inflator
When a tubeless puncture is bad enough that your sealant can’t cope, you’ve usually got one job: get the tyre bead re-seated and get back riding as quickly as possible. A mini pump isn’t going to cut it. Getting enough air into a tyre to pop the bead back onto the rim isn’t easy even in the comfort of your home workshop, never mind out on the trail with a group of impatient mates — or mid-race. The Peaty’s Holeshot CO2 Inflator Head was designed specifically for that moment, and it does it better than anything else on the market.
The straight-line difference
Most CO2 inflators use a 90-degree head that screws onto the valve. Peaty’s threw that convention out and went straight. The straight-line, compact design enables faster airflow for rapid inflation and creates less stress on your tubeless valves, because you’re coming at the valve straight on rather than at a 90-degree angle. The inflator simply pushes directly onto the valve stem rather than screwing into place, saving valuable time in a race scenario where every second counts.
The spring-loaded push valve gives you real control too — press firmly to inflate, release to stop. The delivery is controllable, so it’s easy to add a small top-up without burning through a whole canister.
The inverted hack
Peaty’s found in testing that if you put the valve at the bottom of the wheel and use the inflator inverted — so the gas is at the top — the inline design pushes the liquid CO2 through the valve first, giving it the whole tyre to expand in and dumping the full 25g into the tyre in just a few seconds. With the inflator head pointing downwards, both gravity and the pressure inside the canister force the liquid CO2 out — resulting in full inflation times of under 10 seconds. That’s the kind of speed that re-seats even stubborn beads.
The build quality
Exquisitely CNC machined from 6061 aluminium, measuring just 45mm long and weighing a scant 14 grams, the Holeshot head is all-metal with no plastic — just anodised alloy with high-quality O-rings throughout. The details have been agonised over, from the exact rubber compound of the O-rings to the Chris King anodised colour options. It’s the kind of tool you’ll keep on your bike for years.
Freeze protection
CO2 inflators get cold — seriously cold. The freeze protector sleeve is made from temperature-resistant silicone with a unique closed base to stop your hand from making contact with the rapidly cooling canister making it safe to use even without gloves. Far above the strip of neoprene found on cheaper alternatives.
Please note: This listing is for the inflator head only. CO2 cartridges and the freeze protector sleeve are sold separately, or available as part of the Peaty’s Holeshot CO2 Inflator Kit. Compatible with Presta valves only. Do not use with cartridges over 25g.
