Designed by pro riders, mechanics, and scientists, the Holeshot Rim Tape was developed from the ground up specifically as a bicycle rim tape — not adapted from packaging tape or generic industrial stock. Every detail has been engineered for the job.

The tape creates a strong, airtight seal with your rim and leaves no mess behind when removed. With the perfect amount of stretch and a large, rigid recyclable core, it can be pulled and applied with tension, contouring tightly to your rim for a secure fit. The adhesive is worth talking about too. It’s easy to achieve a reliable seal using a super-strong adhesive, but if it’s too strong it won’t peel off the roll cleanly, and it’ll leave impossible-to-clean residue behind when removed from the rim. Peaty’s solved this with a bespoke adhesive formulation — strong enough to hold, clean enough to remove. The combination of quality tape and next-level adhesive means you no longer need finishing strips.

Finding the valve hole is one of those small frustrations that tubeless setups are notorious for. The semi-translucent design makes finding the valve hole and serial numbers easy — just hold your rim up to the light and the tape’s transparent finish will illuminate the way.

Available in 10-metre rolls across four width options: 23mm, 27mm, 32mm, and 37mm making it compatible with road, gravel, XC, trail, enduro, and DH rim profiles. A 10m roll tapes approximately 5 x 26″, 4 x 27.5″, 4 x 29″, or 4 x 700C rims.

Application guide: Remove existing tape and clean the rim thoroughly with disc brake cleaner. Starting two spokes behind the valve hole, press the tape firmly into the rim channel and work around with tension. Use a small spike to pierce the tape in the centre of the valve hole, then push the valve stem through. Re-apply the o-ring, tighten the lock ring by hand, refit the tyre, add sealant, and inflate to desired pressure.
