Built with a women’s low-volume performance fit featuring optimised toe and collar padding, slightly softer flex, and tailored heel cups, the Hellion Clip is purpose-built for female riders who want a technical clip shoe that actually fits. The low-volume fit reduces foot movement inside the shoe — during testing, reviewers experienced no lateral or fore/aft movement, delivering complete control over the pedals.

Underfoot, the 8.0 Dynamic Grip rubber outsole — developed in conjunction with Rubber Kinetics specifically for clip-in all-mountain shoes — features a hike-a-bike-friendly tread design with a wider, longer cleat box for easy pedal entry and extended adjustment. The RC PowerDrive nylon shank drives power transfer and maintains lateral stiffness, while the dual-density EVA midsole and insole absorb trail chatter and impact on the rowdiest descents.

The lightweight synthetic microfiber upper is abrasion- and weather-resistant, with an antibacterial mesh lining, and a fully gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out on muddy or loose terrain. A hook-and-loop strap and elastic lace tuck lock everything in place, so the focus stays on the trail.
