Shop Vittoria Tubeless Valves 40mm — alloy Presta valve pair for road & MTB, compatible with tyre inserts & particle sealants. Built-in core remover tool.
In stock
Setting up tubeless properly starts with the right valve. The Vittoria Tubeless Valves 40mm are engineered specifically for the demands of modern tubeless tyre systems — built to handle high-concentration particle sealants, work cleanly with tyre inserts, and deliver the kind of airtight, clog-resistant performance that generic valves simply can’t match.
Made from premium aluminium for ultimate durability and lightweight, the Multiway valve’s alloy cap features a built-in valve core remover tool for easy and quick application. Four additional side openings in the valve stem allow for increased airflow when seating tubeless tyres and clog-free integration with tyre liners — a genuinely meaningful design detail that makes the difference between a clean tubeless setup and a frustrating one.
The gasket and valve core are fully replaceable for extended product usability — meaning these are valves you invest in once and maintain over time, rather than replace every season.

Choosing the correct valve length is critical for a reliable tubeless setup. The valve must protrude far enough through the rim bed for a pump head to attach securely, while not extending excessively above the rim.
As a general guide:
Matching valve length to rim depth ensures enough stem protrudes for secure pump head attachment without excess material extending past the lockring. If you’re unsure, measure your rim depth and add approximately 10–15mm for the lockring and pump head clearance.
Standard tubeless valves have a single central bore — which works fine with low-viscosity sealants but can clog when used with high-particle sealants or tyre inserts. The Multiway valve’s bore handles both sealant injection and air inflation without the insert interfering, and the four side openings ensure airflow is never fully blocked — even when insert material or sealant residue partially obstructs the central channel.
For riders running tyre inserts or heavy-duty MTB sealants, Multiway valves are the correct choice. For straightforward road tubeless setups with standard sealant, either valve type works — but the Multiway offers a meaningful upgrade in serviceability and longevity.
